Isanga Bay Lodge is situated east of Mpulungu.
If travelling by car, the road from Lusaka is fully tarred and in good condition with the exception of the last section, between Kasama and Mbala, where caution must be exercised due to sporadic potholes.
From Mpulungu, transfer to Isanga Bay Lodge is by boat. Safe parking for vehicles is available at Mpulungu.
Access by road is also possible although a 4WD vehicle is required. This route is extremely scenic and as you travel down the plateau from Mbala to the lake shore, you will be able to take in magnificent views of the lake. It will also take you through the historic town of Mbala.
The closest airstrip is at Kasama. Transfers from Kasama to Isanga Bay Lodge can be arranged.
